The work draws from grief and from love in equal measure — from a lineage that reaches in many directions and has, in too many places, been deliberately severed. Art is where she goes to find the answers history tried to erase.

I believe art is where wisdom and answers begin. Art is where community begins. Art is alchemy of the soul, where truth is found.

Miranda is a Nuevamexicana artist working from Santa Fe, where she was born and raised. Drawing came first and remains the root of everything she makes — hand-drawn ink work, built by listening to what wants to come through and the conversations with the artwork itself as part of her process.

Her practice moves between drawing, music, design, and dance, but she'd tell you they aren't separate disciplines so much as different forms of the same act — channeling something and giving it breath. The roles look different from the outside: artist, designer, producer, engineer, writer, performer. The orchestration of all of them is the vision.

Studio Miiri is the studio and brand where the drawings take shape as objects — apparel, home goods, drinkware, stationery, specialty pieces — alongside originals, prints, commissions, product design. The intent is for it to be a resource in addition to novelty. Something to return to. Something with roots.

The studio is also an implementation for what is called a portfolio life: the idea that creative autonomy and economic agency aren't opposites, that an artist can also be a strategist. Studio Miiri is the proof of concept.

Beyond the studio's visual work, Miranda is active in music as a producer, writer, talent relations liaison, student engineer, voice actor, and performing artist. She implements these crafts with mentors, collaborators, and at Kabby Sound Studios, where she contributes across creative and operational sides of the studios.

Her musical projects include solo work as Miiri, and known for her collaborations currently with Sonic Puffkins, and in the past singing, writing and performing with Evarusnik, & GRYGRDNS — all different music projects spanning analog two-inch tape to production that combines live vocals, live instruments, MIDI, synth, analog tube gear, hybrid techniques, and AI-enhanced sounds and elements.
